they say when one door closes, another one opens. how long does it take for that door to open? how long is the hallway? are there only so many doors? can you prop a door open with a chair and go search for another open door, leaving that door slightly ajar, just in case? what if you can’t find any open doors? do you have to search for an open door or do you just have to sit and wait?

what if you tried so hard to open a door and you loved what was behind it, but another door swung open and the only way to see what was behind this new door was to completely close the door you tried so hard to open?
